IMLS Grant Received for CONTENTdm-based Columbia River Basin Project
Washington State University's Vancouver Library and Information Services has received an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) grant to identify, digitize, and describe library and museum collections concerning non-Native American ethnic groups of the Columbia River Basin.
The grant will fund a collabration among the Library and Information Services group at Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) and the Center for Columbia River History (CCRH) partnering with the Washington State Historical Society, Oregon Historical Society, Washington State University Pullman, and Idaho State Historical Society in the creation of this digital library. The digital library will serve as a focus to stimulate and encourage public discussion of critical historical and contemporary issues.
