Creating a Description for your Compound Objects
Metadata fields for documents, post cards, picture cubes, or monographs are the same as the metadata for individual items in your collection in that they provide the searchable material for accessing items in your collection. Compound object metadata describes the whole object rather than individual pages or images.
Learn more about creating documents with full-text searching. Refer to Adding Items to a Document or Adding Items to a Post Card for information on adding items to these types of compound objects. See Picture Cube within the Online Help for more information on making this type of compound object and refer to Monograph for information on building a document that contains hierarchical structures, such as chapters, sections, and pages.
