Adding Items to Create a Monograph

To add items to your monograph you must locate them within the selected collection.

  1. From the Compound Object Creator window, click search Search to open the search window.

  2. In the text box that corresponds to the field you want to search, begin typing a search term. As you type, a vocabulary list of terms is displayed at right, reflecting a partial list of metadata within the collection. You may continue to type search words or double-click on a term in the vocabulary list to automatically insert the term in the search text box. If the word you type does not appear in the vocabulary list, the term is not in the metadata and your search will produce no results.

  3. Click Search Search from the search window. Results are displayed within the search window.

  • To view an item in your search results, left click on a thumbnail image in the search window.

  • To add an item to the monograph structure, highlight the intended location in the hierarchy then right-click on the thumbnail image in the search window.

  • To add all returned results to the monograph structure, click grab set Grab Set.
