Creating the Monograph Structure
The monograph structure must be created before the pages can be added. Open the Compound Object Creator, and select Monograph from the list of object types. Refer to Getting Started if you need more information about opening the Compound Object Creator and selecting a compound object type.
Use the buttons at bottom left in the Compound Object Creator window to create the structure you want.
To add an item, you must select a place for it in the monograph structure. To add structure to the monograph you can begin by adding folders (using the Add Sub button) or pages (using the Search window). Add a folder by clicking Add Sub. Subsequent additions will add folders below the last folder. To add a folder at the same level, click Add Node. This will add a folder just above the highlighted item. Change the name of any item by depressing the Shift key and triple-clicking on the title. Press the Enter key to save your changes. The example below shows a monograph structure being created. The last two pages added to the structure have not been renamed yet.
Below is an example of the finished product. This is how the monograph begun in the example above appears in the HTML client once it is completed, added to a collection, and retrieved as a search result.
