Collection Administration

Users with Collection Administration privileges can administer a collection by clicking on Collection Administration from the Administration menu in the Acquisition Station. This opens the Collection Administration console for the current collection.

To administer a collection from the Web or a machine without the Acquisition Station, point your Web browser to your CONTENTdm server URL or IP address followed by /cgi-bin/admin/start.exe. Log in with your CONTENTdm Collection Administrator password.

Each of the administrative tasks is described in this section. Your access rights will determine the features displayed in the Collection Administration console. Depending on your access rights, you may not have access to all the functions described in this section.
