Building a Collection
Once items are uploaded from projects to the pending queue, they must be approved by the Collection Administrator who then adds the items to the collection and builds the text index to make the items searchable. Performing the final review, adding items, and building the text index, require Collection or Server Administration access rights. Once these steps are completed, items in your collection can be searched by end-users. To edit items after they have been added to a collection, see Editing Items and Metadata.
